A Biodiversity Conservation Fund

A Biodiversity Conservation Fund (BCF) will be established to provide a significant and ongoing funding source for the GKI Research Centre. A proportion of revenue generated from the Resort operations will be collected for the BCF. These funds will be directly spent on research and conservation works on the Island and throughout the Keppels.

The funds collected through the BCF will be managed through a research partnership with key local environmental associations. It is anticipated that the GKI Research Centre and the Biodiversity Conservation Fund will significantly improve the state of the environment within the Keppels.
